UNRESTRICTED GENERAL ENDOWMENT FUND
Gifts to the unrestricted general endowment fund provide broad support to the community. Because the donor places no restrictions on how income is used, this fund provides the Foundation's trustees with the most flexibility in grant making. The future will always present the community with new opportunities and challenges. Unrestricted funds position the Foundation to meet theses challenges and support new opportunities. Gifts to the unrestricted general endowment fund may be made by anyone in any amount. Named unrestricted general endowment funds are available for contributions of $5,000.00 or more.
FIELD OF INTEREST FUND
These funds support a specific area of interest to the donor, such as education (scholarships), the arts, youth services, the elderly or disabled. The Foundation uses income from these funds to benefit programs or organizations within the field of interest specified by the donor. A minimum gift of $5,000.00 is required to establish a field of interest fund.
DESIGNATED CHARITABLE AGENCY FUNDS
Gifts to these funds assure support will be provided to specific eligible organizations named by the donor. If any of these organizations should cease to exist or operate, the Foundation trustees will continue the donor's charitable objectives. A minimum gift of $5,000.00 is required to establish a designated charitable agency fund.
ORGANIZATION ENDOWMENT FUNDS
These funds are established by a nonprofit organization contributing funds to provide current income and long-term security to its own operations. A minimum gift of $5,000.00 is required to establish an organization endowment fund.
Project funds are received from donors for a short-term charitable project (normally less than 24 months). Funds for this purpose are not endowment funds. Unless otherwise specified, project funds will be depleted as the designated project is finished. A project fund may not be less than $5,000.

PAULDING COUNTY FAIRGROUND
What is the purpose of these funds?
The Paulding County Fairground Fund was established to generate monies for the overall improvement of the Paulding County Fairgrounds.
The need for major repairs and capital improvements has been a battle that both past and current Sr. Fair Board Members have struggled with over the years.
When presented with the idea of creating such a Fund by The Paulding County Area Foundation, the Board could not refuse participation.
The need for Fairground Improvements is evident and support for these Funds is more important than ever. From new roofs to new buildings, grounds keeping to water line replacement, it is more apparent with each passing day that these improvements need to be made sooner, rather than later.
Our Fairgrounds has served as a place "where memories are made" for over 138 years. Now is the time to ensure that this important place in Paulding County History can remain alive and well for the next hundred years and beyond.
With the creation of the Paulding County Fairground Improvement Endowment Fund and the Paulding County Fairground Project Fund, you can choose to see your donation used for immediate improvements or to ensure the longevity of the Fairgrounds and its related Events.
All donations to either of these Funds can be made through the Paulding County Area Foundation.
Your support is needed and certainly much appreciated.
